In 2014 we ventured to Tocumwal for the first time, for the Annual Golf Trip.
With cool but still conditions over the entire weekend, you would expect the golf to be of a reasonably high standard, however tihs didn't prove to be the case.
On the Saturday not one player played to their handicap, and a three way countback was required at the bottom end of the field to decide the NAGA.
The winner on Saturday was Ritchie Lakey with 35 points. The other winners on the day were Ryan Gurr, Brendan Drew, Joe Dos Santos
and Andrew Jordan, who qualified through to the Matchplay final.
Come the Sunday it was the team of Brad Hardwick and Ross Morfea who took out the pairs competition.
The Matchplay final was won by Ryan Gurr in convincing style. Apparently he's already set his sights on going 'back to back' next year.
The Punters Club team of Sir Alf, Sir Bob and Andrew were unlucky all day, and there wasn't much to write about here.
On a positive we are using the remaining dollars to load up on the $70 million PowerBall this Thursday, so it's not over yet!.
